This week we arrived to our location. We are staying at the YWAM base on the Amazon which is about a 45 minute boat ride past a small town named Nauta. This week we have been in 4 villages asking permission from the village authorities to come and teach english, do home visits and children’s events in the afternoons. All four villages have given us the thumbs up so starting tomorrow we will be able to go and minister in those places.
We travel by boat to all the village by boat. Our home is on the Amazon. We have no running water and it is often muddy. There are bugs everywhere. We have seen monkeys, boa constrictors, HUGE lizards, horses & tarantula’s. We are excited to see Pink Dolphins. Life on the Amazon is hard but we are excited to see what God does in and through us while we are here.
