We’re currently leaving San Pedro De Antofagasta after spending four days together as a squad and are now heading to Cusco, Peru with our team. We’ve had a few changes to our team! We gained another teammate: [email protected] and I couldn’t be more excited. She’s kind, energetic, and will be such a great addition to our team.

The next ten days will be a little different than how it was in Santiago, Chile. We don’t have a set day to day schedule instead we make our schedules as we go. We’re focusing more on life is ministry and ministry is life, which means that you live your life more intentionally. Everyday will be different but it could be something as simple as stopping to pray for someone or writing someone a handwritten note.

At debrief I found out that I got the position of team leader. I really wasn’t sure what the job entails but I was told it’s a “learn as you go position.” During team leader training they told me that basically the position exists to serve my teammates and to make them successful. It includes empowering other people to use their gifts, maintaining the culture of Adventures in Missions and to continue to challenge my team to pursue God. I couldn’t be more excited to have the position of team leader because I think it will challenge me in ways that I haven’t been challenged before.

I hope you continue to follow along as my team and I travel to our next country. The support I have been shown amazes me everyday and I am so thankful for you all. I’m about $600 away from my next deadline which is September 30th. Please consider donating and being apart of this amazing season of life God has in store for me!
