Hi!
My name is Ariel Wingard. I am a 23-year-old Children’s Librarian born and raised in Lexington, SC.
I grew up in a Christian family with a younger sister and a very recent addition in the form of my 2 year old little brother. I attended Christian school from third through twelfth grade where I found my faith in Christ at the age of fourteen. During that time, I felt as if I was at the height of my journey with Christ, but unfortunately, in the past few years I began to resent God through the actions of others. When I decided to attend a secular school in the upstate of South Carolina, I thought that I could do it all without God. During my Sophomore year, I began to realize that I was nothing without Him. Step by step, with much resistance on my part, I began to grow closer to God.
Now a few years later, I feel at home in His presence and am so overwhelmed by His merciful glory. I am so excited to begin this journey with God!
