You cannot drink the water or eat at street vendors… I know this because I was diagnosed with a parasite! I thought I was drinking filtered water but it was refrigerated tap water.
How does one fine out that they have a parasite, you might ask… Well let me tell you. You may have a parasite if at all times of the day you must not walk but fully run to the bathroom. You may have a parasite if your stomach sounds like a broken laundry machine and feels like the world’s worst cramps. You may have a parasite if you get a good night’s rest… Finally!! but, you still feel like you just ran a marathon with no training. You may have a parasite if you constantly feel like you might throw up, but it never happens. You might have a parasite if you definitely don’t think you have a parasite, but everyone else says you do haha. Well now you know the symptoms and I had them all, with some severe dehydration. Two IVS later and lots of medicine for 7 day’s, I’m all brand new!! I pray you all never experience this national body disaster of a parasite in paradise!
