Wow! What a month! God had some interesting plans for me while in honduras. I was only in ministry for 2 weeks and then I started feeling terrible! I went to the doctor and he did some blood work and said while the blood work was getting diagnosed he would give me an iv and get me hydrated. Well I can tell you the doctors office is not quite what Ive learned to expect in the u.s. Lol. I could see outside through the wall and the tin rough. As I was receiving my iv bag a lizard came creeping in to visit… Umm parden me sir lizard but it’s not sanitary for you to be on my iv bag lol. Soon after the doctor came to tell me that I needed my appendix taken out. I looked at the doctor and back at the lizard and the light poking through the walls and thought… Well this is it… I’m going to meet Jesus! They transfered me to another hospital for testing and the actual surgery which I was very greatful for. My new hospital was very nice! God gave me peace and I had my dear friend Brooke Irwin with me the whole time. Ashley P was also in the hospital with the morning after surgery. Our host Scarleth was there the whole time and is so loving and funny. She is short in stature as I am and while very loopy from surgery I told her she was a fun size candy bar lol. P squad went above and beyond to make me feel loved and they made a get well soon card that everyone signed. It was so sweet!!! God can bring light and love to any situation. God provided me with the most magnificent team to be doing The World Race with.
