In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to thank God for my Taza family:

Nora – The Explorer
I am so grateful to spend this time with you. You are a leader by nature… the one that crazy dances in the middle of the park seeking her first follower to start a movement. You are curious, fearless, beautiful and can cook almost anything without tuna and I’d eat it!
My favorite memory: When you sang the entire book of Songs of Solomon in our living room like you were on Broadway.
Alyssa – The Inquisitive
My roommate. There are so many things I admire about you… you are so thoughtful, pure and gentle. I first discovered my love language of touch through all your wonderful back scratches.
My favorite memory: When we jumped off the fishing boat into the Sea in Sri Lanka with full length skirts and attempted to get back in like big, dead fish.
Lennie – The Dreamer
We have experienced so much of the world in our 8 months together. Sleeping on the cold tile floor in dead summer Indonesia to living in a basement in Turkey. You have such a special relationship with the Father and you have taught me so much about his Spirit and His gifts.
My favorite memory: Running home from the Taj Mahal in the dust/wind/rain storm and praying in the spirit over the city of Agra with you on the roof.
Fei – The Warrior
You are so incredibly rock solid in all that you do and you are the most loyal person I know. You are so fervent in prayer and planning. You make friends so easy and go out of your way for them. So much about perseverance, steadfastness, and endurance can be learned just by spending time with you.
My favorite memory: Hiking the rock in Santorini, of course!
Kailey – The Encourager
Oh Kailey, your heart is big enough to swallow the entire world. I feel honored to have been with you for these last 3 months, and you have taught me much about honor… honoring others, myself, each other. I love the wrestle of hard questions you invite other people into. This world is messy, but thankfully you have the perfect counselor full of wisdom and truth.
My favorite memory: When you locked yourself out of our hotel room because of your intense fear of stickers.
I thank God I have been able to get to know each one of these ladies and I pray God uses them to do powerful things! If you are so lucky to be related or meet one of them, you’ve just invited one of God’s royal daughters into your presence (Romans 8:12-17).
