A little bit goes a long way… around the 10/40 window to be exact.

For many of those who read this it will be the first time you’ve heard about this thing I’m doing called the Amazing Race… oops just kidding- The World Race (although it is a common misconception). The World Race is an 11 month missions trip to 11 different countries and all I can ask you to do right now is take 1-2 minutes and finish reading this blog.

The World Race has been on a my heart for a while, but God is finally opening the doors in my life and nudging me through them. I’ve entertained the thought of becoming a missionary before, but there is no better time than now.

I will personally be on a squad of about 30 people (who you can meet through the link on the left titled “Meet My Squad”). We will be split up into groups of 5-6 in each country to work with the local long-term missionaries in that region. I will be working directly in the 10/40 window, an area of the world that has had little to no knowledge of Jesus Christ. We may be working with victims of sex trafficking, refugees, orphans, elderly, hospitals, prisons, teach English or whatever we can do to serve the local community but most of all – build relationships with people and tell them about Jesus.

Adventures in Missions has been doing this program for years and the more I talk about it, the more people I meet that have done it or know someone who has done it and it has changed their life and transformed their relationship with Christ.

For the last few months I have been working as hard as I can go to plan events, restaurant spirit nights, contacting businesses, conducting live videos, etc. I prayed for the Lord to prepare me for the Race and right after that the Lord answered that prayer and I was offered the opportunity through my church to go on a missions trip to Brazil. I knew missions meant living an entirely different lifestyle, but even still, the trip emphasized how much relationships are key in our lives.

Many people I’ve spoke with about the Race have expressed how “it will be such a great experience” and “that sounds wonderful – good luck with your trip!” and I am extremely grateful for the encouragement, but if I had a dollar for each time I’ve heard that I would probably be halfway funded by now. haha

The point is NOT that I am asking for money, but that every little bit helps and YOUR generosity for the sake of God’s kingdom is just as equal as mine.

I have to fund raise $18,700 in order to do this trip in January, BUT if you think about it… it’s really not a lot for an entire year. The funds go towards training, travel, food, lodging, and ministry for the whole year.

The absolute BEST way you can help is to pledge to either donate $10/mo for 12 months OR make a one time donation of $120.

Don’t be ashamed if all you can give is a couple bucks or only pledge for 6 months. Like I said before, every little bit helps.

If you have decided to give:

  1. Subscribe to my blog for updates (you are apart of the story too)
  2. Pray about it
  3. Click “Donate” at the top to make a one-time donation
  4. Click this link to make automatic donations of $10/mo (make sure to add my name in the “Person to Support” box)https://www.adventures.org/dynapay/

Thank you for reading and be blessed!
