Yes, the title of this blog is named after Miley Cyrus’ hit song, The Climb. Now, the reasoning behind this is because of the climb that I am having to make in my life and now my fundraising. I thought that fundraising would not be as difficult as it has been. The reason I feel this way is because I believed that I had more time than I actually do. Which are words spoken by a true procrasitnator. Hahaha.
My mom always says, “Ariel, anything worth something is not going to come easy.” These words have been present in my thinking about The World Race. With the deadlines approaching, and the trip coming full steam ahead the climb is starting to seem a lot higher and a lot steeper. However, I am choosing to trust God. I believe that I will be exactly where I need to be, and I can’t wait to share what’s to come.
The climb and struggles are real, but when you can trust the Lord, and His plan, the climb gets easier. You start to realize while it may be a long and steep way up, you have the power of God on your side. I don’t know about anybody else, but that’s enough for me to keep climbing.
