Update: we unexpectedly had a route change! We are going to Malaysia!! Rather than staying in Thailand for the third month we will be going to Malaysia. I am supppper pumped. ALSO, we hit $10,000. I am so appreciative of all the support I have received.
It has been 4 days since I got back from training camp. Those 10 days were filled with sweat, clif bars and bucket showers. It was also filled with laughter with my new family and worshipping with people I have never met. Training camp was super hard but so worth it. I learned more about how God cares for us and how intimate he wants to be with us. Throughout the 10 days we had many sessions but the ones that I gained the most from were the ones on forgiveness, worship and conviction. Forgiveness is a choice, not a feeling. You receive as much forgiveness as you give. Worship should be in EVERYTHING. It’s not just singing in a church, it’s praising him in everything that you do. Wake up in the morning and worship him for waking up. There is a difference in conviction and shame. Conviction comes from the Lord, it comes from a place that is pure and having the urge to change your ways. Shame is from the world. It comes from a place that tells you to hide it or be ashamed for what you have done. It tells you that you cannot be forgiven when you already have.
I am so thankful for those 10 days. I got to meet my new family and they’re WONDERFUL. My team is great. Like. AMAZING. I never knew you could grow so close to people so fast, I am so grateful. Training camp has made me so much more excited for the upcoming nine months.
