Welcome to my World Race Blog!

Here are a few quick facts about me:

I’m twenty-four years old and graduated in May, 2016 from Sam Houston State University with BA in English.

I’m originally from Illinois where I was born, but moved to Texas when I was fourteen.

I’m the youngest of four children in my family (I have two brothers and a sister); my oldest brother is married and has a daughter (my niece, Emma), and my sister is also married. All three of my siblings live nearby, so we get to see each other frequently. I love my family and friends, and they have a special place in my heart.

I absolutely love writing and getting my hands on any kind of literary fiction, and I love getting inspiration from my cats and gecko (just had to throw them in there).

But…..

My first love is and always will be Jesus Christ. I came to know Him when I was five years old, however, over the years I always struggled with understanding my true identity in Him, and finding my worth in Him. After some complacent, and at times, rocky years in my life, my heart was settled on Him at the age of eighteen. I recommitted my life to God, and made a promise to Him that I would pursue His heart more than anything else in this world, and I would never stop pursuing His heart. Then something beautiful happened. As I got to know Who God really is, and Who Christ is, and the Holy Spirit, I discovered who I really am. I’ve found my worth in being completely His; I’ve fallen in love with God, truly I have, and I’ve found that the times in my life when I feel I am truly alive is when I am by His side walking with Him wherever He leads. My prayer is that all that I do is for the honor and glory of His kingdom.

Which why I am where I am today, and why I am writing this blog. God’s led me to this place, and my prayer is to surrender all for the sake of His kingdom. God’s resurrected my spirit and given me life, and my prayer is for others to have this as well.

So that being said, I pray that in all that I write here, and share with the world, that He will always get the final word.

To God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit!!
