I arrived in Georgia for Launch yesterday and since then we have been reuniting as a huge family, hanging out, and having more training sessions like at Training Camp. They are preparing us for actually going on the Race in, can you believe it, TWO DAYS!
It is so cool to see how the Lord provided exactly everything He told me He would.
Last summer at the beginning of August I knew the next two years were already set out for me by the Lord. I knew I would be single for at least the following 25 months (bringing me to September 2014 – aka being single is a "rule" on the Race, and I knew before I even found out about what World Race was that I would be single this entire year), I knew I would be called away from my home town to serve the Lord through a gap year proactively using my singleness as a gift, and I knew I would have to give back to the Lord things I was holding on to tightly.
And now here we are – all of those things proven true. I'm going to be single until at least September 2014 (no dating on the Race!), I have been called to the World Race as my gap year away from my home, and slowly I have given back everything I knew God was asking me to give back to Him. What a crazy process it has been, but He has called me here for a reason and I am really looking forward to finding out what those reasons are.
