Sometimes God just blows me away with how perfect His love is. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I love surprises. I love when things happen that I'm least expecting, but they're perfect to my every need.

Today God did something that hurt – a lot. So much so that I immediately started crying the moment He struck a very, very, very deep and extremely sensitive wound. But it was an answer to prayer. I had been praying about a situation and how I should handle it before I left for 11 months (since after all, I leave in five days!) Today He answered my prayer in a direct way that was perfect to my needs, because He knows me intimately. He struck this specific wound because He and I both know it would literally be the only way I would've listened to His answer, because He knew it would create a specific hurt that I would respond to – so He provided.

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" (Matthew 6:26)

Our Heavenly Father knows us so intimately, He provides what we need when we need it.

Then I get a phone call from my team leader Sarette, who tells me our placement in South Africa! We will be in Cape Town, South Africa – specifically working in Muizenberg – with an after school program where we might be tutoring children.

Before I decided on ministry, I was on track to become a teacher and then dropped it when I decided I wanted to pursue ministry instead. But come to find out, in my first month of giving my life over to the Lord and pursuing ministry, He places teaching in South Africa in my life too. He uses our talents, because He knows us so intimately. He knows I had a passion to teach and He still continues to fuel that passion and provide other opportunities outside of what I could've ever imagined, because He loves me.

Our Heavenly Father knows us so intimately, He provides what we need when we need it.

Team BBH will also be working alongside Team Ahava!!! I am SO PUMPED to be working with not only my team, but along side more X-Squaders who have become my family.

Please pray for our time there!

Fundraising Update

I am about $2,000 away from being fully funded! Tuesday September 3rd I will be having a fundraiser at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt off Cedar Crest where 20% of the cost goes towards my funds. I"m getting so close and I still continue to be blown away by how many people have supported me in so many different forms. I am so appreciative!
