So. . . I have a bit of a confession. Since coming to Central America, I’ve met someone. And I really like her. If there’s one reason I’m sad to leave Central America, it’s because I’ll miss her.
I wouldn’t usually tell of details like this on a blog, but it feels important that I’m honest in situations like these. So let me tell you a bit about her.
First off, her name is Diana. She’s a petite, colorful woman, full of that Latin “flavor” you always hear about, and I always enjoy our time together. It’s like every time we meet up there’s a different side of her I haven’t experienced before. I really just can’t get enough of her. Some days she’s sweet and rosy, some days she’s spicy and bright, and other days she’s straight a fireball. I love every side of her. Part of me wants to take her with me to the rest of the world, and sometimes I jokingly wonder if she’ll fit in my luggage.

The problem with Diana though, if I dare say there is one, is that she isn’t good for my wallet. She’s not a terribly expensive woman – she doesn’t have that high-class taste – but I just can’t help spending money on her all the time. So really, it’s not the greatest relationship for me. She isn’t exactly a healthy influence either. But she’s definitely a “treat.”
As I move on from Central America and on to the rest of the world, I’m really quite jealous of whoever gets to be with her. But, I regret, I must bid her adieu.
