Fundraising has been quite the challenge for me. The money that has come in…has been in ways that I would have least expected. But I think this is God’s way of showing me that He is in control and teaching me to trust in Him…He is my provider! My heart’s desire is to know Him more and if that means losing myself and abandoning everything I know even if I can’t see how it’s all going to work out, then that is what I’ll do.
I want to be the bright spot in someone’s darkness, to glow in His godliness that’s irresistable, and to shine in such a way that I will be His star that points to heaven and brings hope to the hurting.
You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. -Matthew 5:14-15
