While in South Africa, we had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people. I wish everyone at
home could meet them!
First of all, we
acquired 2 new team members for the month:
Meet Daniela & Davis
Renee, our Real-Lifers
These two lovely ladies were doing a “World Race Exposure
Trip” with AIM, where they spend a month out on the field partnering with
different WR teams. We were lucky enough to get Davis Renee (from South Carolina)
and Daniela (from Boston). These two fit into our team perfectly, and we all
grew together in Lord in big ways. They brought us a breath of fresh air as we
began our 7th month, and I will miss them dearly. I am still
emailing them frequently, and they make sure to keep us informed on all the
American happenings.
We also had some
visitors from the USA, a Campus crusade group from around the country that came
over for 2 weeks to help BEAM out. It was fun to spend the Fourth with them and
to get to know some new faces.
Our wonderful
Contacts, Erika & Louis Lingenfelder. They might possibly be the most godly
couple I have ever met, and I adore them!
Their Daughter &
her family- Vernon, Louise, & little Alex. This family is a hoot, they are
so fun and Louise spoke so much life into us while we were at BEAM. She gave me
a lovely prophecy our last week that I will never forget! Plus they snuck us
out to see a movie J

The great staff at beam–including Carmen: the one
woman show that is game for any adventure. We love Carmen! She stayed at BEAM
house with us and was in charge of the kids at BEAM. She has such a heart after
the Lord and I can’t wait to see what He will do next!
