Here’s a quick update on where I am at in this journey called life. I am coming up quickly on my first financial deadline and still see no change 🙁 I have a yard sale coming up which I am hoping will jumpstart this whole fundraising thing. I do however have all the major equipment purchased that I need. The only other out of pocket expense right now is my shots.
On a different note, I am excited how I am growing as a person. Opening up to friends, prayin out loud (albeit uncomfortably), participating in games with the youth… little things sure, but to me its a whole new world. I still struggle with reading the bible. I don’t know why either. When I do read I get wrapped up, sometimes for hours. It just doesn’t happen as often as it should.
It is slowly dawning on me that time is short here… training camp is roughly a month out and launch is roughly 3 months out. It is just hitting me that I won’t see all the people I take for granted for a really long time. So when I am constantly trying to hang out, try not to blow me off. I love you and am gonna miss you. I apologize that all I want to talk about is the world race or some aspect of it, whether hiking gear or fun things to do while I’m out there or money or whatever. Its just important to me. On a side note, Mom I will stop by soon. I’m sorry we don’t talk as much as you’d like.
