wow guys – the time has arrived L A U N C H
This is so surreal. I flew into Atlanta yesterday & am here for two days with my squad for final trainings and preparation. We leave early, early Monday morning for MONGOLIA (read again about the ministry here)!!! I am excited & expectant!
The past few weeks have been bittersweet – many, many goodbyes for now, to open up the doors for many, many hellos over the next year!
Saying goodbye is never easy, but my goodness do I have the sweetest community in the world. Let me tell you a little bit about them, for truly I don’t know where I would be without these humans ~
The first goodbye was leaving my sweet home, the one and only 510. The night before was spent in cuddles & giggles & ice cream on the couch and then in the morning, they gathered around to pray. These girls are the sweetest gift & some of my favorite humans. Thank you Becs + Bridge + Mags + Mariah for doing life with me this summer & always pointing me towards Jesus. I love each of you ~ truly, I don’t know where I would be without you!!! hip hip hooray for being apprentices of Jesus together!
The next goodbye was Babe/Child, aka my wonderful + wild sister!! Babe, you are a fierce fighter & advocate, a seeker of insight & knowledge, the biggest science geek I know, full of passion & ambition and truly, the best adventure buddy around. I am so very proud of you & am thankful to call you sister, Child & bff !! keep changing the world babe. I love you dearly.
It’s almost hard to imagine traveling without you – you’ve been my day-one travel bud forever.
I will see you soon babe ~ Thank you for being the best lil sis in the world!
Next John & I headed down to visit his family for a few days – such a sweet time & am so thankful for their love + encouragement + support + prayers!! I am blown away by the blessing of getting to be part of their family! See you guys soon!
Also got to see my bff Liv while in NOVA & spend the sweetest time in a park + at our favorite coffee shop. I love you dear one. Thank you for being the bestest friend & human to walk through life with ~ how blessed I am to know you! love you lots + lots
& John + I headed down to see my parents/ fam!! Another few wonderful days together with games, adventures, quality time & yummy food!! Thank you mom + dad for being so loving and supportive & putting lots of veggies in my tummy!!!! I will see you guys sooner than you think! LOVE YOU to the moon & back!
then last, but certainly not least, it was time to say goodbye to John. The hardest goodbye for sure, but I know the LORD has the best plan + timeline and I am excited to see how He uses this year to prepare + strengthen each of us in Him first and use us to advance His Kingdom! Hallelujah!
I will miss you dearly & love you very much! Thank you for being my biggest supporter + encourager + challenger + friend + prayer warrior!
Also thank you for taking me to the airport & hanging with me/ playing cards while my flight was delayed ~ you rock!!

And now I’m sitting here in Atlanta @ launch, training + more training & lots of sweet bonding time with my squad! it’s so good!
also peep below for a little snap of my full hotel room last night 🙂 it brought me back to life on the dorm when everyone would crowd in for games + good conversation. You could say my heart was quite, quite happy!
ALSO, little update/prayer request: I got asked to step up into the leadership position of Treasurer ~ which is such a cool opportunity to serve my team & steward our resources!
Essentially, I’m responsible for budgeting + keeping detailed count of all the money we spend & inputting them in expense reports + being responsible for managing team money + emergency cash, & booking transportations for the team & lodging. So as you can see, it’s a HUGE responsibility + a HUGE honor that I get to do this!! Please be praying over this role – that I use wisdom & good stewardship + responsibility in order to care for + serve my incredible team well 🙂
