training camp is here!!!
Hi everyone!!! I wanted to send out a quick little update!!
As I type this now, I am in the car heading to training camp ~ how W I L D
I think almost every emotion is stirring up within me right now, but more than anything – I am PUMPED –
~ excited to meet my team – the people I will be doing life and ministry with for the coming year!
~ excited to be trained and equipped for the work of ministry and learn from the leaders who have gone before
~ excited to live in a tent and sleep on the ground and be without a phone for 2 weeks ( I really am serious)
~ excited to get a clearer view of what the next year on the Race will look like
A big, big thank you to all of you – for supporting, encouraging, loving and challenging me in this journey!!!! Truly, I thank God for each of you!!
I welcome your prayers over camp!!! Pray –
- that the team will bond, and there will be unity, that we will get to know each other and our hearts for the work of the gospel, that we will have fun together, and that we will prepare well for the time ahead
- that I will have strength – emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually, to engage fully and be intentional in learning all I can and investing myself into the LORD and into those around me
- that funding will continue to come in!!!!
With that being said, I wanted to update everyone a bit on fundraising too!!!
$7,500 left to raise
Woohooo!!!! Goal is to be fully funded by my birthday ~ July 6!!! (ONE MONTH) Let’s do this!!

Lastly, some of you might realise that number is the same number I posted in my fundraising update last month. There was a little bit of a mishap on the administrative side that led me to believe I was a little over $2,000 ahead in my fundraising than I actually was. Long story short, there is another ‘Annie Harris’ also going on the Race at this time and a lot of the donations that were meant for her, were coming into my account. Everything is fixed now and BIG HALLELUJAH- One of the people whose donation accidently came into me ending up deciding to partner with me as well!!! HOW INCREDIBLE ~ my goodness, I love the CHURCH and being a part of this body, all on mission to bring his Kingdom come!!! Yes & amen! Let’s do this together!!!!!!
