T-100 DAYS UNTIL I LEAVE FOR THE WORLD RACE!!!
100 days until I get on a plane and leave America for 11 months.
100 days until I land in Cote d’Ivoire.
100 days until I abandon my blessed life to live out of a single backpack.
100 days until I live among the smiling faces of the natives of each country I’ll be living in.
100 days until I start one of the greatest adventures of my entire life.
100 days until I pick up my cross and go live like Jesus.
100 days until I train to become a disciple.
100 days.
I can’t describe the feeling that gives me. What’s the word for beyond excited and totally intimidated? Because that’s the word that would even come close to describe how I’m feeling. My list of things to do and buy and people to see before I leave keeps growing and my time keeps shrinking. The closer I get to my departure date, the more real it feels. I’m leaving in 100 days!! AHHHHH!!!
“Annie, this is all so crazy. How can I help you out until you leave?” Well, gosh, I’m so glad you asked.
Pray for me. Pray for me in the shower, pray for me in the car, pray for me at work, pray for me in the grocery store, pray for me when you randomly think of me while you’re eating spaghetti. I need all the prayer I can get more than I need anything else. Pray for my fundraising, pray for my safety, pray for peace, pray for quick and calm thinking when there needs to be, pray for everyone I will be encountering for the next year, pray for anything and everything you can think of. The biggest way anyone can help me is by praying. Lastly, pray about becoming a prayer partner with me. I need warriors by my side constantly, in person and in spirit. I would ask that you question what level of prayer partner God would like you to be with me, whether it’s daily, weekly, monthly prayer, or anything in between. Whatever it is, however often it is, pray for me.

Another way to help me out is by donating! “But Annie, there’s no way I could donate $100 or even $50.” SO WHAT. A donation, no matter the size, is a reflection of your generous heart. The simple fact that you’re willing to give anything at all to my cause is completely humbling for me. Again, I would ask you to pray about the level of donation the Lord would have you take up. Whether it’s one-time, quarterly, monthly, weekly, or what-have-you. Again, any donation at all is a huge gift.
