Hey everybody, It’s been a while! I hope you are all doing well, and finding ways to stay entertained while we are on Lockdown.

For me, it’s been a crazy couple of months. Learning to let go of the “end of high school” I had in mind was a long and difficult process. Learning that I still needed to get all of my high school related work done, while enjoying none of the incentives, was even more difficult. I complained, I procrastinated, I stressed, I cried, but in the end I sat down, and got it all done. I’m happy to report that I am now officially done with high school!

Moving on to more interesting things… this time in “lockdown” has really given me a chance to catch up with myself. Most of the time I’m running from commitment to commitment, just trying to catch a break for dinner, but lately I’ve had time to sit down, and spend time doing things I enjoy. One of those things is writing letters. I’ve discovered that it is INCREDIBLY therapeutic to sit down at my desk, break out some pens and markers, and write to people. I’ve also rediscovered my love of baking, and of spending time hiking. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to just go outside and walk for miles.

Many of my fundraisers were cancelled, plans have been changed, and times have remained uncertain, but there’s always beauty to be found in a situation. I think that the most important thing to remember for now is to be kind to each other, and be kind to yourself.

Please pray for our world leaders & stay healthy!
