Thank you for the beauty of ice lining the banks of streams and ponds.

For the stillness of the air and the grey blanket of sky above my head. For dazzling night skies, and pale blue days. For coats, hats, scarves, mittens, and socks I give thanks to you Lord.

God I thank you for opening my eyes once again to your Winter glories that I so often forget. In my human hurry to get back inside my Winter-proofed house, I thank you for slowing my steps to experience your beauty even in my least favorite season. Thanks God! Amen.
