Travel Day. Honduras-Antigua Play By Play
3:39- woke up… Had ear plugs in so even though the alarm went off before then I didn’t hear it
3:55- Packed and set to go
4:00- Forgot to put my pack in my airporter
4:07-Finish putting pack in airporter. Clip extra shoes to daypack because they wouldn’t fit
4:09- the whole squad and all our bags won’t fit in the fleet of taxis. They are sending another taxi
4:13- in a taxi on the way to the bus station
4:19-arrive at bus station
4:27- morning announcements and passing out bus tickets and cookies
4:48- finished pack of cookies
5:20- need coffee
5:25-found coffee
5:53- final bathroom run #rulenumber1 #peebeforeyouleave
6:00- start loading bus
6:10- on the bus
6:16-on our way!
8:14-Fill out custom forms
8:45- off the bus to go through customs to enter El Salvador
9:55- back on the bus
10:03- realized there is a baby on the bus
10:17- stop on the El Salvador side of the border to get our passports checked
11:02- still getting checked at the border… Let the games begin
11:08- search dog came aboard the bus and sniffed our snacks
11:32- lost a game of GHOST…
12:06- finally moving again
12:08- stopped for gas and food #friedchickenandpapasfritas
12:38- gas station French fries are terrible
12:49- back on the bus
12:52- back on the road
4:30-arrive at San Salvador bus station. Unload bus
4:45- get on different bus after bathroom break
5:47- pick up more passengers
5:54- fill out more customs forms
8:15- stop at the border to get passports checked
8:42-driving again
8:46-got off bus to go through customs
9:35- back on the bus
11:55-Arrive in Guatemala City
12:00-get bag off bus
12:05-slip and fall on wet tile because flip flops
12:09- get on local bus to Antigua
12:12- bruise thumb shoving Courtney’s pack into the back of the bus
12:14- distribute gum
12:23- leave bus station
12:37- commence back seat dance party
1:11- arrive at hostel and unload bags from van
1:20- get room assignments and dig out PJs
1:35- good night Guatemala
