So, for a quick update on life here in El Swag, here are some pictures of some of our adventure days we’ve had so far on the race! How the race is set up we do ministry for five of the days and the other two days are reserved for rest and adventure! Every day on the race is its own adventure, but these days are specifically for going out and experiencing the culture we are in. So here are some of the best pictures so far!
SUCHITOTO
On the way, some of the girls decided to ride in the bed of the truck in the rain. Here is a beautiful selfie from inside the warm cabin!
This is the sweet little “jungle boy” who showed us where to go to get to the waterfall. He literally came out of no where and ran off after we were done and gave him a handful of change!
This is the Beautiful waterfall in Suchitoto.

After the waterfall, we had a picnic lunch on the riverside with these cute little coke bottles.

This is the Church in the main square of Suchitoto.
Here’s a video of all the fun. (that last part is when our driver breaked really fast and we all flew)
JUAYUA
We started off this adventure day right with dressing up and going out to an Italian restaurant that is apparently in the middle of a forrest…

After staying the night in a hostel, we met up with the other teams and went to the waterfalls.

Then we went into town for a festival going on.

REBEL DAY

One of our adventure days our team leader Emma was in the hospital with our team mate Allie. So they rest of us spontaneously decided to get piercings and die our hair. #WhatHappensWithoutATeamLeader

Shoutout to these two pros for doing their first ever dye job on my head!
COATAPEQUE

Coatepeque is a sunken in volcano filled with rain water

EL ZONTE BEACH

This day wasn’t actually an adventure day, but it was still an adventure in itself! YWAM decided to take our team to the beach for a day, so we all piled in this huge bus and took off!

EL TUNCO

Our whole squad met up at El Tunco for a week of debrief. We got a lot of rest and got to see the Lord work in lots of BIG ways!

LINDA VISTA

We found a dog named Betoven

He made Megan very happy

GUATEMALA

My team and I took a weekend trip up to guat!

We got the opportunity to hike Pacaya Volcano while we were there, or ride horses up it I guess…

We also got to roast marshmallows at the top!

Here’s a picture of us playing chubby bunny… you’re welcome.

Thats all the pics for now, folks! but here are some videos of our time here so far!
