It is nearly midnight here and for those of you who know me, you know it is way past my bedtime! My heart is just so overcome with Joy and Love that I have to share with you what all Christ has done tonight, or… yesterday I guess.

Tonight I had a sweet friend throw me a “Prayer Party” and as I am sure you are all thinking, “What is that?” I will try and combine all of the fantastic things that happened into a blog. Basically the church, not the building but a group of believers, gathered together to pray over my family, my team, and me as we begin this journey called the World Race.

I have witnessed the power of prayer many many times throughout my life, but nothing like this. For nearly three hours I had people laying hands on me and pouring life into me in so many ways! I had people speaking scripture over me, speaking Gods will over me, and praying about things that I’m not even sure I realized was going on in my own heart, let alone told them about! It was so wonderful to see a group of people – some who knew each other and some who didn’t – come together with the soul purpose of speaking to the Lord and letting the Holy Spirit work!

As I sat and talked to people and listened to their prayers I had an overwhelming sense of acknowledgment that I am not alone in this. Not necessarily that I didn’t think I would have prayer warrior here at home, God has blessed me with a “family” of people who have prayed over me throughout my life, even when I didn’t know it! This acknowledgment came from me realizing that I don’t have to sugarcoat my life with this people. That yes, they do want to hear about all the good things and crazy stories I have, but also want to hear about my struggles and want to pray over me and speak life into me. After all, this is their story as much as it is mine.

 Romans 12:4-5 says:

For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

Although God has called me to be the one to go into the nations and show His love, He has used all of these people and so many more to get me to this place where I know what the Lord is calling me to do and where I have enough faith to step out and obey. Without even one of these people I may not be where I am now, so for each of you I am forever thankful.

I would like to take this portion of the blog to say thank you to Susan Cox and her wonderful family for putting this all together. You have blessed me and my family in more ways than I can count and through this single act God used you to calm my spirit and bring me joy.

I would also like to thank anyone who came tonight. You are the reason I am going on this trip. Without your funding and prayers I don’t know where I’d be. Also thank you so much for the life you spoke into me and for the prayers over my team. God is working through you!

Also I would like to thank the Campbells, Hicks, Halls, & Kirklands, as well as the Cox’s. Y’all specifically have been a tremendous support to me and my family. Each of you has given my family so much love and joy and I can’t ever express how thankful I am for you. Y’all are our family and are such blessings in our lives.

Finally, I would like to thank all of my supporters. Wether you supported me financially or through prayer or by giving me your time, I would not be able to take this step without you. I would like to invite you to dive deeper into this journey and subscribe to my blogs. All this means is that every time I post, you will get an email or text where you can view my blog! All you have to do is go to the side bar and click on the link that says “Follow Me!” then enter your information then Presto! You’re done!

Again thank you for all of your support. I want you to know Christ IS working in you! I Love you all!
