Hi! My name is Annie Jansen, I am from Fishers Indiana and I am a senior at Fishers High School. If you would’ve told me a year ago that I would have my own World Race blog, I would’ve told you “You’re crazy!”, as it turns out I’m the crazy one, but I am so incredibly excited to be a part of the World Race gap year!
I love fun facts so here are some fun facts about me:
- I am a swimmer (I don’t swim year round, just during the high school season)
- I am the oldest of four (I have two younger sisters and a younger brother)
- I love naps and ice cream and good movies
- I cry, like a lot, over car commercials, movies, and anything even slightly emotional
- I went on my first missions trip to El Salvador the summer after sixth grade
- On Sundays I help lead a bible study of middle school girls
- My family and I are obsessed with the TV show Psych and the Rocky movies
- I’m from probably the flattest place on earth but I have an obsession with mountains
- After the World Race I want to major in construction management
- I’m 5’11 and no I don’t play basketball
- I LOVE music
