Every once in a while, in between long work weeks and brutal physical labor, opportunities arise for Racers to leave behind their packs and become tourists for a couple days.
For us, it meant saving up all our "off-days" this month and driving 14 hours from our town in Romania to Thessalonica, Greece, where we spent two nights at a quaint bed and breakfast by the Aegean Sea.

The crystal clear, blue waters and white, rocky beaches made every moment of the journey worth it.

The weekend was a perfect combination of Greek food…

exploring the town…

sipping coffee in picturesque cafes…

sampling sweet treats…

much needed rest…

basking in the sun…

morning beach walks…

and time with my family.

It was such a blessing to enjoy this beautiful country with my teammates. My soul feels at peace by the sea, and after an intense month of ministry, I feel refreshed and ready for the one to come.
