We are now in Antigua, Guatemala. The last couple of days were spent traveling
and researching possible ministries and lodging. We are staying in a church right now, but we
are not sure how long they will allow us to stay. Our budget only allows for $4.25 per person
per night, so it is difficult to find lodging within that range. I was talking to my parents about our
accommodations, “The place we are staying is great, which means we have a roof
over our head and a bathroom. We don’t
have a shower and the building is open with no doors, but I can bathe in a sink
now, so the place is great.” They
laughed about how my position on great lodging has changed. My opinion on bathrooms has also
changed. A typical bathroom comes
without a toilet seat or toilet paper and with insects. World Racer’s often consider a bathroom
luxurious if it flushes, has a toilet seat, or has toilet paper. When a bathroom does not have those comforts,
I have come to the point where I actually don’t mind.
The past couple of days we have also been working on our
team dynamics. Living and working with
the same group of six for 11 months is going to take a lot of work. If you think about it we could always use
prayer for team unity.
I want to take some time to thank all of my supporters; your

When we are in Argentina for a week in April we are responsible for setting up
our own ministry and lodging. If you
know anyone in Buenos Aires that has a ministry or place for us to stay, please
let me know. Actually if you know anyone
in any of the countries we are going to please let me know. We have been able to work with a number of
ministries that are contacts of World Racer’s.
