Most mornings we go on house visits to visit the families surrounding the care point in the community. The purpose of these visits is to establish relationships, and to encourage and uplift those that we go to see. Sithulele, the shepherd over the care point, grew up in this same community so he knows most of the families around, so because of this he arranges the visits and who we will be seeing each morning. We have several families that we love to visit, and most of them have children that go to our care point!

One lady that we love to go visit is named Gogo maria. Maria is a sweet older woman that has trouble walking and getting around places. We have visited her several times and some of the things that we have done while we are there include going to get her water for the day at the well, cleaning her house, cooking her lunch, reading her scripture, singing songs, writing down verses in font big enough for her to read, and we have bought groceries for her as well. Maria always has the biggest smile whenever we go to visit her, and we are always equally happy to be visiting her! It is very encouraging to see her faithfulness to the Lord despite the state of her physical body. I will miss seeing her and her little pink homestead each week, but she is someone that I will never forget!

Another family that has children that go to our care point, the mother has a brother-in-law named Coasi. Coasi is very special in many different ways, and one of those ways being that he has cerebral palsy. Even though Coasi is nonverbal, we are still able to pour out our love on him just as he also does to us. His smile lights up his little room as we sit there with him on his mat and sing him song after song. It is also very sweet to be able to sit down and talk with his mother-in-law and explain that Jesus created Coasi in his very own image and that he made no mistakes when creating him. I have no words to explain how sad I will be when saying goodbye to not only Coasi, but all of the other relationships we have established here in Swaziland.

prayer requests- that as we prepare to leave we are able to be present and continue to love on the children at the care point and able to say goodbye to all of those we have built relationships with! We leave here on December 4th for Asia so also prayers for safe travels would be appreciated too!
