This is my personal blog where I will be documenting, to the best of my ability, what goes on over the course of the next 11 months. The menu on the left provides you with options to find out a little more about who I am, send me an e-mail (I'd love to hear from you!!), check out pictures as I'm able to post them, receive updates when a new blog is posted, support me financially, share this site with a friend, and give you & your church group the opportunity to adopt my team through prayer. I feel so blessed and humbled to be a part of this journey and to be able to share it with all of you!
So…what exactly is the purpose of this whole "World Race" thing?
Over the course of 11 months, I will be traveling to 11 different countries (tentatively: Romania, Ukraine, India, Nepal, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines) to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those who are hopelessly in need of a Savior's love. I will abandon all of the daily comforts of home and live out of what I can carry on my back. I will have the opportunity to experience life in many cultures while caring for orphans, fighting against human trafficking, teaching children, feeding the hungry, reaching out to people with AIDS…and ultimately sharing God's love with His people and bringing glory to His name.
Basically, it's not about me or what I can do. It's not even about the talents that my awesome team has as a whole. It's about letting go & living beyond myself. It's about what God can do through my team and I. We're just a group of people who said, "Here we are; send us!" Everything that is to follow is all orchestrated by God.
