A little introduction to my FAVORITE country!!!
We are in Cambodia!!! And boy is it hot!! My team and the guys team are at a church in Siem Reap called Victory Church. Within our two teams we are split into three separate teams we do ministry with. My team is Reagan, Will, and Drew. In the mornings from 6am to 8am we pick up trash around public parks and markets. Then from 8am-9am we have a break for breakfast where we either go out and go get coffee from a coffee shop or go home and eat provided food. Next, from 9am-10am every morning we have cleaning the house which consists of sweeping, mopping, spraying down the bathrooms, and organizing our stuff. After that we have ATL, ask the Lord, from 10am-11am where we worship and ask the Lord what He wants for us to do for the day. Our team has been able to take a tuk tuk driver to lunch, pray over people in the park, and do self reflection. Then we have nothing until 4, this is when we have bible study. This is our schedule from Wednesday- Friday. On Saturday we set up for church, deep clean the house, have prayer meetings, and plan for church the next Sunday. Sunday consists of waking up early, cleaning, watching the toddlers, and giving testimonies/ exhortations for the services.
This is a little introduction to our ministry. Sadly, what we are doing now is not what we thought we would be doing. Because of Corona the universities here have shut down for two weeks, but the plan is when they open back up we will teach classes there Wednesday- Friday.
