Hello Everyone!
This my blog to track my mission trip pre and during. The little wins, discoveries, and stories I have along this crazy journey that is going to impact my life forever.
I am from Las Vegas, Nevada and moved here when I was one years old from where I was born in Layton, Utah. Las Vegas has been one of my blessings full of community and opportunity. I have been raised here with two sisters, one younger, and one older, and two amazing parents. My family is my biggest blessing full of continuous love and support. They have made my Jesus journey what it is. I wasn’t only blessed with my immediate family but my extended family has been such big blessing as well. The laughs and love that come from them I wouldn’t be able to find nowhere else.
I was raised Catholic and got baptized and first communion. My parents decided when I was in the seventh grade that this Church wasn’t a good fit for us anymore so we went to Canyon Ridge Christian Church that has served us so well. The summer going into freshman year I went to the church camp that our church offered and it changed my life. That following September I got baptized again and have been living my life for Jesus ever since. Last summer I went to that same church camp again and realized that God was calling me to do something more. One of our group leaders mentioned to me World Race and I realized that was a perfect for me and what God was calling me to.
Now with the less intense stuff! I am a Senior in high school currently a cheerleader and in student council. I also work at Dutch Bros and love it!! After I comeback from my mission trip I want to go to school to become a high school principal. I love my friends and my favorite past time is hanging with them. Music has become a hugh influencer in my life and one of my biggest passions. #lovelanadelrey. My music taste is pretty versatile but Lana Del Rey is my favorite.
