For those of you who are just now hearing about my trip, let me fill you in alittle.
~I am preparing to embark on an 11 month missions trip that will be taking me to 11 different countries.
~These countries include 11 of the following 15: Guatemala, Nicaragua, Peru, Bolivia, Cambodia, Thailand, China, Philippines, India, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Botswana and Malawi.
~I will be leaving the first week of October 2010 and plan to return the end of August 2011.
~I will be traveling with fellow young adults….dont worry I’m not flying solo in this journey.
~I just recently graduated from Nyack college in December 2009 and I feel that the Lord has been preparing me in all aspects for a journey such as this.
~Many people have asked me about the expectations I have for this trip……In response I tell them I don’t have any. I plan to go into this trip without expections. I want to be open to all the Lord plans for me and if I begin this journey without any expectations than I will never be disappointed if my expectations are not met. “Peace begins, when expectations end.”
~I would love to be surrounded with prayers and so I ask if you feel led pleases pray for me while I prepare, leave and embark on this once in a lifetime experience.
