This past month we had daily devotions in the morning before breakfast where each of us would take turns sharing with the group what the Lord was teaching us. It was during one of these morning that Dustin shared about childlike faith. He was sharing how children live with such a wonder and excitement at the world. All too often we get caught up in things that don’t always matter and it is important to be reminded of the small things in life and really just living life with a childlike faith.
It reminds me of Matthew 19:13-15 “Then the little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
As many of you know I love children and a big part of ministry this month was just loving on the children so I enjoyed this month immensely. We had so much fun just spending time playing with them. It was hard to leave them, but the time spent with them was all worth it.
