While processing all that the Lord has done on the World Race, I can’t help but get all emotional as I reflect on the amazing girls I got to experience it all with. My sisters. My family for the past nine months. Team Saahas. It’s time to give them all the credit they deserve and share a bit about each of them with the world! Thank you, Jesus, for sisterhood and for giving me six new best friends in all this craziness.

A Christian rap queen, a humble beast, a radiant beauty, a goofy ray of sunshine, a passionate daughter of God. Sister SISTER I love you so much!! You live in reverence. Your constant vulnerability glorifies the Lord in so many ways. Your desire to deny yourself, put the attention on everyone else, serve however necessary, and go with the flow are such valuable traits not only in the world but even more importantly in the eyes of our Father. I’m so grateful to have been able to witness these things in you for the last nine months. Thank you for being such a rock on team Saahas. I am so honored to be your friend. I can’t wait to see how God uses this experience to launch you into new things. I’ll cherish the memories of this season and look forward to making many more with you in the future. TIARA WENGER! You are such a picture of Jesus! My faith and my love for the Lord have grown as a result of being your sister. You are FIERCE, gentle, beautiful, servant-minded, wise, stronger than anyone, brave, and completely selfless. You are a woman of reverence and discernment. If I was with anyone else that night in India when it was dark and that drunk man stopped his motorcycle and approached us, shoot I would’ve been running away. But I was like “cool, Tiara’s here, I’m totally fine.” I’ve loved all of our talks about scripture, smoothie dates, ministry, and literally any time I’m with you! I hate that we have to say goodbye, but I expect to be serving with you again someday in some capacity! Maybe our special needs orphanage in Swazi? Hmmm… I love your adventurous, passionate heart and I can’t wait to see where God sends you. I love you so much, sister. Grateful to be friends for eternity. Miss you already.

Alexis Claire Marshall. A true homie. A literal soul sister for many reasons. A true blessing from the Lord. Lexi, I have never spent so many consecutive days with someone in my entire life. Not only have we been with each other for the past 265 days, but we’ve been bunkmates too. We literally eat, sleep and breathe with each other. And you’re STILL my best friend. That’s some real love, dude. My race would NOT have been the same without you. You are so unique, confident, faithful, and full of the love of Christ. Serving alongside you, laughing with you, confiding in you, and growing with you has been the greatest gift. I don’t like the thought of parting from you, in fact I can’t even fathom it after all this time. Thanks for being an example of Christlike friendship and pursuit! Gonna miss you this summer. A lot. I love the many moments in ministry where we’d naturally end up pairing off and just totally vibe together ya know… I’m gonna miss laughing with you and serving with you. I’m gonna miss translating your narrations during our bible skits for the children. I’m never gonna forget helplessly buzzing around Kathmandu to track down my passport with you. Thank you for always being there for me and for learning how to love physical touch LOL. Liz, God has some crazy things in store for you and I can’t wait to watch you confidently run with that! Thank you for keeping things light and chill and fun. Thank you for truly seeking out all that Jesus teaches. Thank you for always challenging yourself to be more and more like Him each day. Thank you for being a living, breathing example of His life-altering power and beauty. Thank you for letting me chop your hair and mess up your part. Thank you for being YOU, sister.
