In my last post, I mentioned a fundraiser called Adopt-a-Box. Here’s a little more information on that:

Each of these boxes represents a dollar amount. If you would like to “adopt” one of these boxes, please contact me and I will black out the box. There are multiple ways to get ahold of me if you click the “contact” link in the sidebar to your left. Once you have let me know which box you would like, please donate that amount of money through either check, cash, or online. If you need more detailed information on how to donate, you can find that in the previous blog post.

THE FUN PART: I’m doing a raffle! If you choose to adopt a box, I will enter your name into a raffle. The more boxes or higher amount you donate, the more entries you will get in the raffle and the higher your chances are of winning. Prizes will include cool stuff from the countries I will be visiting along with some other goodies that I’ll send home to you. Wanna make a new fashion statement with a purse made out of a giant toad? Been having a craving for crocodile paté recently? I can totally pick some up for you in South Africa!!

Obviously kidding, the prizes won’t be quite that outlandish. I’ll try to find something that you’ll like while also being unique to the country. Unless you’re actually into crocodile paté, then let me know.

The last row has some pretty generous amounts, so anyone that adopts a box in the last row will automatically get a prize AND I’ll film myself doing something crazy and include it in a blog. Some ideas I’ve come up with are donating my hair, getting pied in the face, filming myself bungee jumping, and eating a lot of weirrrrrrd stuff. If you have any ideas for crazy stuff that I should film myself doing, don’t hesitate to suggest them! So if you realllly wanna see me eat a giant fried tarantula, just adopt that box and I will do it!

I’ll choose a winner every few months and I will be in touch if your name is drawn. If you have any questions or suggestions, let me know! Thank you for your continued prayers and support 🙂
