Dear Mom and Dad,

Thank you for being such great examples in your pursuit of a relationship with God. Thank you for always turning me to God and telling me to ask Him for wisdom. For making me start my day in prayer and reading the bible, for pushing me to quote scriptures over myself, to watch my words because they have power, and really helping to create healthy habits in me. For helping me to build a strong foundation in the Lord at a young age and always supporting me in what the Lord was asking of me. Thank you for all the sacrifices you made for me growing up and all the time you invested in me. Thank you for making the trip all the way across the world to spend a week with me doing ministry. I love that you guys have always welcomed others into the family and I loved seeing you pour into my teammates by giving them encouraging words and sharing verses with them. Thank you for really helping to create this passion in me. For loving me and cheering me on always. For stepping out in the ministry and really getting to see my heart for people. I love you guys so much and can’t wait to share more about what the Lord has been doing in my life in December. I am who I am today because all you have done for me growing up, so thank you!!!!

My parents flew all the way to the country of Georgia to meet up with me and my squad for a week of ministry. It was so nice to see my parents and share with them what my life has been like for the past 8 months.

They also brought me Peanut Butter M&M’s, because you can’t find those over seas.

For the first 4 days we got to share testimonies from the last 8 months and also got to share about what the Lord has been doing in our lives.

Then as a squad we taught about listening prayer, treasure hunting, prayer walking and english club!!

It was so nice to be able to hang out with my parents, eat meals together, explore the city and do ministry with them. And, to share with them what I am passionate about. Not only was it amazing to share this part of my life with them but I also got to pray for my parents. I prayed that they would experience God like I have the past 8 months and for their time of ministry with us. I loved just getting to see my parents in another country praying and worshiping for God to come and move in this place.

Here are some pictures from the week, hope you enjoy them:)

I love that my parents and I were matching when I first got to see them

I love that we can connect with people over playing the piano

It was a beautiful country

It was fun to explore the city with my parents and some squad mates

We took a walking tour around the city

Families from Texas unite!!

Saying goodbye to my parents, can’t wait to see them again in 3 months
