Dear Friends and Family,
With only four months left teaching in Korea, I’m so excited to share with you the next chapter of my life! I’ve made the decision to take part in the World Race, starting January 2019.
What is this? The World Race is an eleven-month long mission trip, which
goes to eleven countries around the world. At each site, we will be serving the community
in various ways…one month we could be building houses for the homeless, the next we could be running sports camps, and the next we could be ministering women in red-light districts.
Why am I doing this? First, the Bible says go to the people and proclaim His
grace to the world. Again and again in the Bible, we are commanded to serve the
way Jesus served, to orphans and widows and refugees. Also, I have a heart for missions. I feel the most alive, fulfilled, and passionate when I’m serving others,
especially in other countries. This could be the first year to a lifetime of missions.
Where will I be going? My squad and I will be serving in Colombia, Equador, Peru, India, Nepal, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Romania, and Ukraine.
It costs HOW much?? Yes, I will have to raise a lot of support to be able to be able to go. I’d love for you to partner with me on this journey! I hope you consider doing so.
