Well today is the day! Today I walk across a stage (hopefully without falling) and receive a piece of paper that I have worked really incredibly hard for.

Four years ago this day seemed like it would never come. Now, four years later, it seems like no time has gone by at all. Funny how that works.

These past four years have been a whirlwind, let me tell ya. They have been the best, worst, hardest, and most rewarding years of my life so far. They’ve had highs and lows, good days and bad ones. I’ve made friends and I’ve lost them. I even lost myself once. But Jesus has always been my constant. Through every battle I faced, He was there. He’s been my constant friend and supporter, number one cheerleader and the best listener I’ve yet to find.

As I walk across the stage this morning, I walk knowing who I am and who I plan on being for the rest of my life. Thank you Lee University for shaping me and helping me to grow in the way I have over the course of my time here. I am honored to call myself a Lee Alum.

Congratulations Winter Class of 2014! Kick some butt out there.
