Well I’ve been trying to write this post for a few weeks now, and I have so much I’ve wanted to share, but unfortunately words just weren’t coming together. So I’m hoping that if I write this in my tent, currently set up in the backyard, (Yes I’m sleeping here tonight!) inspiration will strike.
First, I want to say how amazingly faithful my Jesus is! I ask for so much, and He still gives me more than I can ever dream of. There are no limits to His love and His grace, and He always supplies beyond what we can dream or imagine.
Also, I want to shoutout to RSQUAD! My wolfpack. Over the course of 2 days I learned the biggest lesson so far on this journey of mine, and it was all due to the very selfless people that I am honored to share this journey with. They showed me what it means to be a community, to look out for each other, and help each other out in our time of need. Here we are, not even at camp yet, and you guys are impacting me more than I imagined you ever would. Because of you I’ve learned to stop worrying so much about things that are out of my control and simply hand them over the God. Because He’s the only one who can do anything about them anyway. You’ve taught me to put others before myself. To remember that we are called first to love, and take care of those around us. I realized that I have developed a horrible habit of “self-sufficiency/dependency”. And where I thought I was doing others a favor by “taking care of myself” I was keeping myself from helping others, and even hindering myself from being blessed by others. Thank you guys for helping me see a different perspective and showing me love when I really needed it. <3

My next goal is coming up in June and I’m still about $3000 ish away from reaching that. Please be in prayer for funds to come in and PLEASE prayerfully consider donating! Seriously, ANY amount helps a ton!
Love you guys! 🙂

Side Note: It only took 5 minutes to figure out that mosquitos magically find their way into my tent. Stocking up on the bug spray!
