In case you need a smile, watch this 45-second gem:

Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That!

And yes, my lungs are not in the best shape right now.

Mid-October, I developed a cough that persisted straight through my time in Greece and on to Macedonia. After two rounds of antibiotics that showed no improvement with my health, our ministry host in Macedonia took me to their doctor, who diagnosed my cough/sinus problems as bronchitis and sinusitis, rapidly approaching pneumonia.

Realizing we’ll soon be leaving for Africa with unknown health care, it was determined best that I rest for as many days as needed until I became healthy again. After three days of my incredible team letting me sleep and bringing food to my bedside, the doctor says my lungs are improving and I am on the road to health.

I share for two reasons:

1 – with a lot of time to myself, and a significant amount of disappointment that I am unable to go to ministry with my team for the time being, I can’t wait to share what the Lord will teach me. Because right now I feel like that woman — “Jesus, I don’t have time for this!”

2 – Please pray as the Lord restores my health that I am fully healed before we fly to Africa on December 2nd! Yesterday I was prescribed my 5th antibiotic in this treatment and my body needs to be ready to take another for malaria prevention in South Africa.

Praise the Lord, for I have a comfortable bed to rest in and faithful and loving ministry hosts and team that are helping me get back on my feet.

There’s no need to worry, but I really do need your prayers!

Fala — thanks!

In His Hands,

Anna
