On January 3, 2009 I began a journey that would forever
change my heart. It was an initiation into a lifestyle that would set the
foundations for the course of my life.
One year ago, November 24, 2009 I met my mom and brother in
the JFK airport, concluding what proved to be one of the most significant years
to date.
I returned to America.
As I sit here in Malaysia on this one year anniversary, I
took some time to look back at all God did that year in my life, the lives of
my teammates and squadmates, and the people we impacted (and impacted me) around the world.

remember that it was a year of growing, stretching, getting out my comfort
zone,
laughing so hard I almost peed my pants, dancing, Spectacle foot washings and team
times, leadership, one-day relationships and covenantal relationships,
confrontations and repentance, and loving on Gods people.
Deut 4:9- Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not
forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long
as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.
Moses impresses upon the Israelites the importance of remembering
what God has done for them. Their biggest folly and downfall was that they
forgot Gods faithfulness.
I will not forget you.
So today I will remember the things you have done God. I will
remember the relationships formed, wounds healed, my team, the H-Squad, the joy, the tears, the
miracles, salvations,
And I will remember your people.
here with the R-Squad now. To see that they have an even greater experience
than I did, and that they push further and grow in greater intimacy with the Father than I did.
miss you.
