of all, I’d like to say that I’ve been incredibly blessed, as my time on earth
has been full of amazing opportunities, and people to make them all the more
enjoyable. I’m grateful to having a loving family that’s supported me through
all adventures and decisions, and friends who are like family to encourage me
as I peruse my dreams.

speaking, I’m a 4′ 11″ girl from Maryland who likes Baltimore Sports, MD crab
cakes, Macs, reading a good book, exploring new places, and hanging out and watching
movies (I’m all about quality time!). I graduated from Towson University in
2008 with a degree in journalism/electronic media, and eventually want to use
my passion for media to raise awareness of the poverty, genocide and human
trafficking in the two-thirds world.

who am I? I’m a woman who’s been wrecked by love for the people of this world. From
comforting children dying of AIDS in Swaziland, to meeting with business
executives in Washington D.C.,
from homeless men and women on the street of Malaysia, to NFL football
players in America, my heart cries out for them to know that they are loved.
Whether I’m in the poorest of the poor, or richest places on earth, Gods heart
for them is the same.
My
passion for the nations started in 2006, when I spent 5 months as an exchange
student in the Gold Coast, Australia. I came home with a hunger to know people
from other cultures and became an orientation leader for International Students
at Towson. Over the Christmas of 2007-08 I had the chance to got to India,
where my heart was devastated as I held orphans and
lepers, touching the
untouchables. I knew after that trip that my life would never be the same and
it was my job to be their advocate. To bring hope to the hopeless and a voice
to those who cannot speak for themselves. In January 2009, I left for the World
Race, where I learned more about who I am, as I ministered to the
broken-hearted around the world. The funny thing is, I came home learning more
from them then I could have ever given away in that year. Now I’m in Spain until July 2010, attending the G42
Leadership Academy. It’s a six-month leadership intensive that
focuses on equipping our hearts and minds to BE the kingdom of God, where ever
we go.
has ever seen God, but when we love one another, God lives in us and his love
is made complete in us.
