Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you have read or heard I have been accepted into The World Race for July 2015. This 11 month mission trip is part of the organization Adventures in Missions (AIM) and will be taking me into the countries of South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, India, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Honduras, and Guatemala. Words can not describe just how excited I am, and not simply because of this opportunity, but because God is faithful.
In the last three years, I have been on three missions trips, twice to Ghana Africa and once to Ensenada Mexico. In Africa I realized how much I loved these people that I had never meet. In Mexico I understood that God wasn’t just the God of my city, or of the States, or of Mexico, but of the world, and that his son came to die so that everyone in every country could know the Father. It was really through these four weeks combined that I understood that God had given me a heart for service, his people, and for missions.
Recently I have been reading about the Early Church.I have come to realize just how big of a role the body of the church plays in the lives of the individuals that make up the ministries.Acts 4:32-33,” Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power gave the apostles their witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all”. I am asking my brothers and sisters to come behind me and support me both prayerfully and financially. The total cost is $16,227 and I am asking that you make a prayerful donation.
