We got some news today… oh boy! It’s official- I will be heading to ATL, GA to launch on September 6th!!!! You may be thinking, “Wow! Are you starting to get nervous now?? A little scared?” Well now that you mention it… no. I am excited! I am hopeful!! And I am filled with peace. My heavenly Father has called me by name. He is the keeper of my heart, and I trust his hands to hold me. I could focus on the chance of something going wrong or some danger crossing our paths. The possibility of darkness is real. I even had a friend ask me, “Why aren’t you afraid? How do you know it will work?” Well, the truth is.. I don’t. Yet, I can say with absolute confidence, I am stepping out to follow the Lord: my light and my salvation! Whom shall I fear?
By no means do I have it all figured out. Power of Attorney… huh? Schwab card… say what? Do I get the shot or not? (Relax. I’m getting the shot! 
) There are countless errands and tasks to take care of – umm yeah I still need to move out of my apartment…. repaint the walls, get rid of many things, pack-up the rest, etc. etc.! Oh and of course there’s the little detail of meeting financial deadlines! At the end of the day, I have a choice. I can get stressed out and lajsdgo;hasdf, or I can trust that Voice that calls forth my soul into true purpose.
“And I will call upon your name, and keep my eyes above the waves. When oceans rise, my soul will rest in your embrace. For I am yours & you are mine.”
For now, I will just continue to “run with perseverance the race marked out.” Some of the best words I heard at Training Camp- Work like it depends on you. Trust like it depends on God.

My dad’s brothers and sisters, 14 of my cousins + significant others(who are really much closer to me than that word lets on), and countless other extended family that make appearances throughout the week 
I live for this week each year!! Wonderful as they are, we will be having a silent auction one night! Then when I return, I will be speaking at my church the following weekend. Lots of love to be had in this next month leading up to launch!
