Kenya is amazing! The people here are great and our ministry contacts treat us like family. I can’t say enough about them. The weather is perfect, we have cold showers, sleeping in a bed with a mosquito net that has holes, meeting wonderful people everyday and get to share the love of God in Kenya…Life is perfect right now. We are in Kisumu and we are working with Deliverance Church. Our second day here we were able to split the team and go to two schools and talk. 6 students asked Jesus in their hearts!!!! Saturday we went to Deliverance Church choir practice to meet some of the members and Sunday we started church at 730am and finished the second service at 1pm. After dinner we headed back to church for a youth meeting for a few hours. Ministry here will be going into the schools and talking, going in the jails and talking and visiting the hospital. Ministry for me personally is just talking to random people that God puts in my path. The security guard were we are staying is a Massai. Which is one of the largest tribes in Kenya. He has the sweetest heart. He doesn’t speak any English. God has put him on my heart. I really want to share Jesus with him. Please keep him in your prayers and pray for God to open doors and for understanding. God is so good and I can’t wait to see Him move in my friends life!
