Hello everyone & welcome to my blog whether you’re here on accident or on purpose.

My name is Anna Leigh Jepson and I’m 23 years old simply wanting to follow the calling God has placed in my wild heart.

I was born and raised in northern Minnesota in a log cabin in the big woods and now get to call Duluth, the city along the beautiful shoreline of Lake Superior, my home.

My parents and little {but bigger} brother are the three that make the tribe I call a family and they are without a doubt my best friends. I might as well throw Josh, the world’s best beagle in there as well.

I believe in choosing adventure whenever possible and that comfort zones were created to be broken. I am naturally awkward & drink way too much coffee.

Most importantly I have some crazy love for Jesus-he has made complete beauty of my mess. Every day I learn more and more about what it means to be a follower of Christ and each day Jesus is transforming my heart+ making me NEW.

For as long as I can remember I have had the desire to live, learn, and serve others in nations all over the world. Last summer the country and the beautiful people of Tanzania stole my heart and I haven’t been the same since. I learned more about living, loving, overcoming, celebrating, and JOY than ever before. My eyes were opened to the importance of not only meeting the physical and emotional needs of the hungry, homeless, addicted, and the poor but the spiritual needs of individuals across the world as well.

My heart was created with a deep passion of loving people radically+ changing the world one person at a time. Over time I have learned that I will not change the world. Jesus will do that, however, I can change the world for one person-so i keep loving one person at a time. The end goal is purely to make a real difference in this world and share his love.

I invite you to tag along for the chapters ahead in my story I call life. To follow me amidst my bad grammar+poor writing & let me share with you whats on my mind, and in my heart all while trusting that God will reveal amazing truths about Himself as I encounter the unfamiliar.

Here’s to both the giddiness and the panic of a journey into 11 countries in 11 months to serve “the least of these.”

xoxo
