As we begin a new year I was writing down the things that I have learned this past year. One of them is to go deeper with The Lord to spend time study the Bible and praying more. Through this God has answered my prayer to have a greater FAITH in HIM. As I prepared for the world race and started to rely on HIM for the things that I was in need of: finances, backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, tent and all the little things in between- HE did provide and continues to provide. Even now as I approach the final financial deadline I KNOW "HE who promised is Faithful" (Hebrews 10:23c)

Even though my faith is greater, I still find myself having doubts when things don't fall into place in "my time". (It's part of the learning process) I've found that it's incredibly easy to have faith in God's promises when everything fits perfectly into place. It's like doing a jigsaw puzzle, it's easy to spend a lot of time on it when everything is fitting into its place, but when it starts getting hard, and the right pieces seem to be missing; it's tempting to walk away and just let it sit there; that is giving up. This can also happen in our Faith journey, when things are going great it's' easy to be active in our church community, to spend time in the word and in prayer. To shout HIS praises, but when things get hard and they're not happening our way or in what we think is the perfect timing the desire to walk away is stronger than before- don't walk away! Persevere through it- pray and wait!

GOD'S timing is Perfect!

He knows the details of how everything will fall into place. God wants us to spend time with HIM; read His word, pray, and let HIM provide the pieces. He wants us to pursue the dreams and promises that He has given us and He in HIS perfect timing will provide.

What pieces are you waiting for God to provide? Are you waiting it out in Faith knowing that He is Faithful?

"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised IS Faithful."
Hebrews 10:23
