It is time to get serious about some things: first cleaning out, purging, letting go of things that I just don't need to hold on to.  Ouch this is painful, letting go of little  things that I have been given over time.  Choosing carefully what to keep for when I return which in the end will be very little.  I started with my bathroom which has been overtaken by way to much STUFF.  I have an embarrassing amount of nail clippers, and hair products, and since our other roommate moved out my stuff has gradually moved over to the other cabinet, I take up way to much space on the counter – it's a mess.

This mess reminds me of what a mess I am and how easy it is to let sin creep in and take over my life.  Think about it! How easy is it to let your daily routine of prayer and Bible study slip away? What's on TV must be more important right?  You can always go back to Bible study later.  Unfortunately, less of God becomes more of self and just like how my stuff has taken over the whole bathroom; sin will overtake our lives if we are not careful.  We need to be diligent. Take the time to allow GOD to work in our lives, get rid of the bad habits, allow God to reveal those sins that are taking precedence over HIM.  He wants to chisel away all of the bad stuff.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)
