I have a confession! About a year ago I was studying at Barnes and Nobles and a man that I know came over and started talking to me, and I couldn’t remember his name at all.  I just sat there and talked to him and pretended that I remembered his name.  It’s Brian…I think.  Working at Hope Assembly, honestly there are some people who know my name but I’m not sure I’ve ever met them.  There was another incident this past week where I wasn’t sure I knew a person’s names.  I see people all of the time who know me and I don’t remember there names.  I’m thinking “you look really familiar and I know that I  know you but I have know no idea what your name is.”

I was pondering all this and was reminded that GOD knows my name, He’s known me since before I was born; HE knows the names of everyone, He knows our lives, our hearts, our motives.   HE our loving Savior knows the name of every person on that we will cross paths on a daily basis, and the people we will meet as we go out into the world to share the love of Jesus.  God knows their names and HE know their stories, and how we fit in.   It is humbling to be called by God out of my comfort zone in word and deed to share HIS love with the nations.

Please pray for myself and “U” Squad that we would  listen as GOD  leads us to specific people and situations and that we would use God’s discernment in ministering to the people.

But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! (Isaiah 43:1 NASB)

God Bless You!
