Ready, Set…. Pause.
What a crazy week. It went something like this:
Enter Soard (Gypsy Village- no running water, no toilets, no nothin’), Wake up in an old cow barn. Eat. Worship. Pray. Build house. Thank God you don't live in a dirt shack. Eat again. Construct Children’s Ministry ages 3-7. Thank God your arms are still located within their sockets. Eat Dinner. Youth ministry ages 8-19. Thank God you didn't get married at the age of 12. Go to bed. Repeat times 5.
Say a depressing goodbye to your favorite ministry contact yet. Thank God for them. Get on a train for 6 hours. Arrive at a YWAM base in Cluj-Napoca. Thank God for beds. Go to bed. Wake up. Realize you barely have 24 hours in this city before you have to travel directly across the country again. Do everything possible (quickly): Hike a mountain. Sightsee. Do ministry at a gypsy village in a trash dump. Learn about every ministry possibility in the area. Set connections up for future World Racers to visit. Thank God for an awesome time.
Drive to train station. Wait. Get on train. Get kicked off train. Get on bus. Get off bus. Get on train again. Ask to be moved to a different location on the train. 14 hours later… arrive in city. Crawl in hostel. Thank God I can sleep.
Wake up.
Pause.
Breathe.
Remember how incredibly blessed I am in this crazy life.
Breathe again.
